The Junior Diplomatic Academy was officially launched at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth

Here, students will develop communication skills to represent Ukraine positively at international conferences, festivals, competitions, and other global events. The program includes subjects such as the fundamentals of diplomacy, professional etiquette, public speaking, Ukrainian cultural heritage, and world cultures. Dance training is also an essential part of the curriculum, helping students build confidence, presence, and social skills.

During the official opening, Oksana Dobrovolska, Director of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, and Hennadii Nadolenko, Director of the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signed a cooperation agreement between the two institutions.

In his address to the students of the Junior Diplomatic Academy, Hennadii Nadolenko noted, “I see in this room the future diplomatic leaders of Ukraine. To support this mission, we will provide you with a strong and comprehensive program to help you become skilled diplomats.”

The ceremony participants were also welcomed by Oleksandr Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine; Anna Bilokin, Head of the International Cooperation Division at the Kyiv City State Administration; and Viktoriia Kuzmenko, Director of Specialized School No 94 Ellada, which specializes in Greek language studies.

In her address, Oksana Dobrovolska, Director of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, emphasized, “The project initiators believe that Ukraine’s integration into the European community is an inevitable process. Our goal is to ensure that young people are well informed, confident, and able to represent Ukraine with dignity on the international stage.”

Addressing the students of the Junior Diplomatic Academy, Project Lead Rita Kosiak recalled the Academy’s slogan, “Your path to mastering the power of words,” and said, “Young people have always been the driving force of every nation, in all times and circumstances, and today’s generation is no different. Modern youth are active, ambitious, and ready for growth and change. It is you who will shape an independent, free, democratic, and European Ukraine.”

Together, we are a powerful force. Let us hold on to that strength and our belief in victory.
