Students of the Junior Diplomatic Academy at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth attended CHARITY FAIR 2024, held at the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Students of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth gained valuable communication experience by engaging in English with representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine. By purchasing souvenirs and refreshments, they also contributed to supporting the charitable initiatives of the event organizers,” said Rita Kosiak, Head of the Junior Diplomatic Academy.

Students received words of support from Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha; Director of the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, Hryhorii Perepelytsia; Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, Hennadii Nadolenko; Ambassador of Lithuania, Inga Stanyte Tolockiene; as well as from the spouses of ambassadors of Germany, Georgia, and Romania, and representatives of diplomatic missions from Pakistan, Vietnam, Mexico, and other countries.

Students of the Junior Diplomatic Academy explored the cultural traditions and unique characteristics of the countries represented at the Charity Fair stands.

The festive atmosphere created a warm setting for meaningful conversations. Students enthusiastically shared with representatives of foreign embassies in Ukraine what they learn at the Junior Diplomatic Academy, invited them to visit the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, and presented them with Christmas cards signed together with their mentors.

According to Anna Dolhikh, a teacher at the Junior Diplomatic Academy, “International diplomatic missions now have a better understanding of our program. Students were seen and heard, and diplomats praised their enthusiasm and genuine interest in the field of diplomacy.”
CHARITY FAIR 2024 was organized by the Association of Spouses of Ukrainian Diplomats, the Kyiv Ambassadors’ Spouses Club, and the International Women’s Club of Kyiv.
