Junior Diplomatic Academy Visit to Pryamyi TV Channel

January 23, 2025

Students of the Junior Diplomatic Academy at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth had a valuable opportunity to visit the Pryamyi TV channel. There, they learned about the process of creating television content and gained practical insights that contribute to their professional development.

During the visit, international journalist Nataliia Bochan offered an inside look into the television production process. She demonstrated how news segments are filmed, how editors and camera operators collaborate, and how teams prepare for broadcast.

Students observed how every detail in television production is carefully planned and coordinated to ensure that each frame and every word meets the highest professional standards.

This visit was not only engaging, but also an important step in developing the skills of future diplomats. As noted by Rita Kosiak, Head of the Junior Diplomatic Academy, “Working in television shows how essential it is to collaborate effectively, adapt quickly to changing situations, and maintain a smooth, uninterrupted process — principles that are equally important in diplomacy.”

Students of the Junior Diplomatic Academy noted that the visit to the TV channel helped them better understand how media shape public opinion, an essential tool in diplomatic practice.

Special thanks to the Pryamyi TV channel for their hospitality and the opportunity to explore the world of media. This experience was not only valuable, but also an unforgettable part of our students’ development.
