The Junior Diplomatic Academy students participated in a Multilateral Founding Conference on the "New World Order" at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth. The event offered a hands-on experience, allowing students to apply their knowledge, debate pressing global issues, and step into the shoes of diplomats.

Before the conference, participants were tasked with researching the country they would represent. The young diplomats examined its security, economic, and social-humanitarian aspects, and explored its stance on key global issues. This preparation ensured that everyone arrived well-informed and confident in their diplomatic role.

The sessions featured lively debates between the representatives of the “countries.” Participants confidently defended their nations’ interests, navigated complex discussions, and suggested compromise solutions. Beyond discussing pressing global issues, they shared creative proposals for reforming security systems, enhancing economic collaboration, and tackling humanitarian challenges.

Attending the conference allowed participants to strengthen their skills in public speaking, constructing arguments, critical thinking, and cross-cultural communication. It was a key experience in honing analytical abilities, teamwork, and the capacity to find effective solutions in challenging scenarios.

Rita Kosyak, head of the Junior Diplomatic Academy, emphasized that the conference format helps participants gain a deeper understanding of international affairs while offering a hands-on opportunity to put their knowledge into practice.
