Students from the Junior Diplomatic Academy are taking part in the international youth exchange “GEMEINSAM STARK – RAZEM SILNI – STRONG TOGETHER – United”, a program designed to foster dialogue, tolerance, and cross-cultural understanding among youth from across the globe.

The event aims to spark the curiosity and creativity of young parliamentarians, explore European values, and strengthen connections and partnerships between the sister cities of Kyiv and Dresden.

In Germany, the students of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth are engaging with the Dresden Youth Parliament and youth delegations from Wrocław, Bytów, and Khmelnytskyi to discuss key issues such as human rights, democratic values, and approaches to peaceful conflict resolution.

During their stay in Germany, the young diplomats are fully immersed in the language, learning German out of respect for their hosts, while exploring the distinctive architecture of Dresden.

Rita Koсяk, leader of the delegation, emphasized: “The Youth Parliament isn’t merely about exchanging experiences — it’s a crucial step in shaping a generation of responsible, open-minded leaders for the future.”

Junior Diplomatic Academy students are sharing the realities of the war Russia started against Ukraine with their international peers, while also highlighting Kyiv’s youth self-governance initiatives.
Stronger together! Gemeinsam stark!
