As part of the international exchange “GEMEINSAM STARK – RAZEM SILNI – UNITED,” the Junior Diplomatic Academy delegation in Germany met with young representatives from the Christian Democratic Union, the Social Democratic Party, and Volt Deutschland. The participants shared perspectives on strengthening democracy, Ukraine’s future, and ways to support the country during this critical moment in its history.

The Junior Diplomatic Academy students had a highly engaging and insightful meeting with Dresden’s Deputy Mayor, Jan Donhauser, in charge of education, youth, and sports.

They also took part in an interactive city hall quest, using tablets to complete challenges, answer questions, and navigate different locations throughout Dresden’s municipal offices.

Visiting the Ukrainian House in Saxony’s capital was a meaningful experience for all attendees—refugees, long-term Ukrainian residents in Germany, and locals from Germany and other countries living in a multicultural community. Everyone was eager to learn more about modern Ukraine and how Ukrainian children are pursuing their education amid the ongoing war.

“We can confront Russian propaganda only through the truth that our students from the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth share during their visits abroad—whether at festivals, tours, competitions, or international conferences,” said Rita Kosyak, project leader of the Junior Diplomatic Academy.
