Model UN, critical thinking, and new insights — the second year of the Junior Diplomatic Academy kicks off.

October 1, 2025

  1. Second-year Junior Diplomatic Academy students kicked off their studies at full speed, setting the tone for what promises to be a dynamic and exciting season ahead.

  1. The Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth provides an ideal space for project participants to meet, and this time future diplomats welcomed guests from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the civic organization “Prosvita.” They introduced students to the world of international relations and led an engaging session on “Model UN” — a diplomatic simulation that allowed participants to step into the role of state representatives and practice real negotiation skills.

  1. Nataliia Kharchenko, PhD and Head of the Borderline Education Department at the Institute of Problems on Education (NAES of Ukraine), delivered a highly practical training session titled “Methods of Manipulation and Hidden Information Distortion.”

  1. This training turned into a real eye-opener for Junior Diplomatic Academy students. Participants learned how to:

  • identify information traps and manipulative communication,

  • apply critical thinking and counter misinformation,

  • make informed decisions and uncover the true intentions behind messages.

The new stage of learning for future diplomats has begun with inspiration, practical skills, and a strong motivation to make a difference in the world around them!
