Junior Diplomatic Academy students took part in the engaging event “World Storm: 1936,” which explored diplomacy during the events of World War II.

During the event, participants stepped into the roles of national representatives navigating one of the most challenging periods in global geopolitics — World War II. Drawing on historical context, players in the “World Storm: 1936” simulation advocated for their countries’ interests while striving to prevent a global catastrophe. The experience unfolded over two intense days filled with debates, negotiations, and strategic clashes.

“Events like this bring together historical learning with hands-on experience in negotiation, public speaking, and leadership development. It’s truly invaluable for anyone who wants to build a future in diplomacy,” noted Rita Kosyak, head of the project office at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth.
