Junior Diplomatic Academy students from the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth gained valuable hands-on experience by participating in a simulation game organized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s Educational Center.

This time, the teenagers stepped into the roles of Members of Parliament, fully engaging in the legislative process according to real procedures. They explored how Verkhovna Rada committees operate and how parliamentary factions and groups are formed — not through theory, but by actively carrying out the responsibilities of lawmakers.

Junior Diplomatic Academy students, organized into factions, confidently defended their viewpoints, upheld coordinated positions, and participated in voting on a simulated piece of legislation.

The Verkhovna Rada Educational Center trains future lawmakers who are familiar with how the legislative system works, can manage their emotions, adhere to parliamentary procedures, respect differing viewpoints, and act solely in the interests of the Ukrainian people.
