Junior Diplomatic Academy students explored the “Ukraine WOW” exhibition, immersing themselves in Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

First-year Junior Diplomatic Academy students from the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth visited the Ukraine WOW exhibition, held in a unique exhibition space on platform 14 of the Central Railway Station. The project aims to showcase Ukrainian culture to the world while helping Ukrainians rediscover its depth and richness.

The exhibition is divided into five thematic zones — “Land,” “Rulers/Warriors,” “Thinkers,” “Artists,” and “Heirs.” Junior Diplomatic Academy students explored them freely, engaging with over a hundred exhibits and numerous interactive installations. Among the most memorable highlights were Ivan Mazepa’s sabre, a sword from the era of Kyivan Rus, Cossack ceremonial vessels, a hetman’s mace, early printed works by Boplan and Marshall, the railway carriage where the preliminary Act of Unity between the UPR and ZUNR was signed, replicas of the golden pectoral and the Peresopnytsia Gospel, and a full-scale model of a 20-meter Cossack chaika.

The contemporary section features iconic achievements, including Andriy Shevchenko’s Ballon d’Or, Eurovision trophies won by Ruslana, Jamala, and Kalush Orchestra, a Nobel Prize, a BAFTA recognition involving Oleksandr Rudynskyi, a stage outfit by Sabrina Carpenter, and a hat by Ruslan Baginskiy designed for Madonna’s tour.

Visitors could immerse themselves in VR experiences — soaring over the Carpathians, Bakota, and Lake Syvash, or stepping onto the stage of the musical “Rebeliia.” Highlights also included a reconstructed house of Polina Raiko and an impressive seven-meter set installation from the production “The Witch of Konot
